Hancock Springs:
In 2005, the Yakama Nation launched a restoration effort in Hancock
Springs, a tributary of the Methow River. Hancock Springs possesses unique
ecological conditions that made it a prime target for
salmon and steelhead habitat restoration. Currently, these
federally listed fish are returning to Hancock Springs; see video below
of steelhead spawning at Hancock Springs. |
