The Yakama Nation’s Upper Columbia Habitat Restoration Project (UCHRP) is requesting bids for aerial transport of large wood to facilitate construction of a Fish Habitat Restoration Project. This work is to take place five miles west of Winthrop, Washington and must be completed prior to July 1, 2017. The specific tasks, description of material, contractor requirements and location descriptions are detailed in the attached scope of work. Wood will be transported by helicopter from an establsihed log deck to the designated sling sites identified in the attached maps. At a later date in July, the delivered wood will be installed with excavators using vibritory driving equipment, under a seperate contract.
All contractors submitting bids for this project shall provide and/or demonstrate, at a minimum the following:
- A signed and complete bid sheet
- A list of three professional references
- A brief narrative describing your ability to and/or experience performing this type of work
- Describe your level of experience producing Flight Safety Plans as required by BPA contracts.
